Informa’s Walk The World: Supporting World Child Cancer with £145,000 Raised
World Child Cancer shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We’re thrilled to share that World Child Cancer is once again a proud beneficiary of Informa’s Walk The World initiative, and even more excited to be walking alongside their incredible London employees as they mark the 10th anniversary of this inspiring event!
Since our partnership began in 2018, the passionate team at Informa has raised over £145,000 to help children with cancer access the treatment and care they deserve, a truly outstanding achievement.
Recently, our very own Rachel Long and Georgia Tonkin had the privilege of speaking at Informa’s London-based lunch and learn sessions, where they shared more about World Child Cancer’s mission and the tangible impact Informa’s support has made. We were honoured to be joined by two other fantastic organisations, Mind and The Passage, making for a powerful afternoon of purpose-driven storytelling.
A huge thank you to Bethany Fruen and Lucy Mark for organising such a brilliant event, and to the entire Informa team for continuing to walk the walk with us.
An additional shout-out to Walk The World sponsors IBM and Freeman Company, whose employees have selected World Child Cancer to receive two additional donations of £5,000 each. We’re incredibly grateful for your commitment to health equity and can’t wait to see you along the route in July.”
