Mamtha Balla: Grateful for My Mentors, Ready for Hematology and Oncology Career After Transplant Fellowship
Mamtha Balla, Transplant Oncology-ID fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on X:
“What an incredible journey at MD Anderson, UT and Methodist culminating in beautiful graduation ceremonies with MD Anderson Cancer Center, UTHealth Houston Infectious Diseases, and Houston Methodist! I am deeply grateful for the guidance of exceptional mentors like Pablo Okhuysen, Dr Roy Chemaly, Dr. Tweardy, Dr. Hasbun, Harrys Torres, Dr. Javier Adachi, Eduardo Yepez Guevara, Dr. Lin and many others.
Armed with knowledge in immunocompromised ID, I eagerly step into the next chapter of my life in hematology and oncology as a proud graduate of the Transplant Oncology ID fellowship from MD Anderson. A heartfelt thank you to all my mentors and supporters, especially my family, for making this remarkable phase of my life possible.”
