Olubukola Ayodele Has Been Shortlisted as a Finalist in Two Categories at the Black Healthcare Awards 2025
Olubukola Ayodele, Consultant Medical Oncologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, posted on LinkedIn:
“Honoured. Grateful. Proud.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories at the upcoming Black Healthcare Awards 2025, hosted by the incredible Caribbean and African Health Network (CAHN):
Consultant of the Year – Clinical Excellence Award
Oncologist of the Year Award
The ceremony will be held on Saturday 12th July 2025 at the iconic Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London, a night dedicated to recognising the brilliance, leadership, resilience and impact of Black healthcare professionals across the UK.
To be nominated in not just one, but two categories and be recognised among so many inspiring peers is incredibly humbling.
My work has always centred around equity, compassion and systems change. This recognition is a celebration of a journey defined by purpose.
This is more than a personal honour. It’s a moment for everyone who has walked this journey with me: patients, colleagues, mentees and community leaders. This is about celebrating legacy, community and progress.
Join in the celebration, tickets for the event are available here.
To every Black healthcare professional breaking barriers and uplifting others: this is our celebration.
See you in London?”
