ELPA – Tove Frisch Presents Genial Project on Alcohol-Related Liver Cancer at 2nd Annual Genial Meeting

“ELPA’s Voice Rising!
ELPA’s Vice President Tove Frisch had the privilege of presenting the Genial project at the 2nd annual Genial meeting in Solna (June 11, 2025).
Genial is redefining the landscape of alcohol-related liver cancer (ALD-HCC) in Europe — exploring the role of genes, the environment, population patterns, and Artificial Intelligence in prevention, early detection, and treatment.
Tove stressed that at the heart of all this innovation are the patients — their stories, their struggles, their perspectives. ELPA is proud to bring the patient voice into this forward-thinking project, ensuring that care, policy, and education remain patient-centric.
Together, we’re turning knowledge into action — making a real, human difference in the lives of those affected by liver disease.
ELPA — for patients, by patients — passionate, strong, and united in the fight against liver disease.”
