Anju Aledia: Supporting Childhood Cancer Survivors – Education and Emotional Healing
Anju Aledia, Teacher at KidsCan, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Rooted in Purpose, Rising in Strength
As a teacher at Home Away Home from Kotla Delhi with CanKids KidsCan, I am deeply honored to witness the extraordinary journeys of childhood cancer survivors. Each child’s story is a powerful testament to resilience—not only in fighting a life-threatening illness but also in overcoming the disruptions in their education and emotional well-being.
The battle against childhood cancer does not end with medical recovery. Many children face the added challenge of dropping out of school, falling behind in their studies, and struggling with the psychological toll of their experiences. At CanKids, we work tirelessly to bridge these gaps—offering not just education but also emotional and psychological support tailored to the unique needs of these young fighters.
As we approach Foundation Day on June 13, we reflect on the purpose that roots us and the strength that lifts us. Support systems—educational, emotional, and mental health-focused—are essential in helping survivors not only survive, but thrive.
Let us continue to build a world where healing includes the mind, heart, and future of every child.”
