Leonidas Platanias, Director of the Lurie Cancer Center of Northwestern University, shared an X/Twitter post by Jay Robert (JB) Pritzker, adding:

”A very big deal for Chicago and the state of Illinois, the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network is led by Lurie Cancer Centers’ Shana O. Kelley. It will have a transformative impact for bioscience and help the development of important new treatments!”

Quoting Jay Robert Pritzker‘s post:

”Chicago was chosen over dozens of cities to join Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network and receive a $250M investment to study how to eradicate disease. They recognized that there’s no better place to build a top-tier workforce and develop cutting-edge technologies than Illinois.”
