Joanna Metzner-Sadurski: Inspiring Talk from Jasmine Kamboj – A Passionate Voice for Rural Oncology
Joanna Metzner-Sadurski, Medical Doctor Self Regional Healthcare, posted on LinkedIn:
“This slide says it all: 340B, access to clinical trials, and physician shortages are not just policy points—they’re survival issues for rural cancer care.
We have a system where large, well-resourced hospitals benefit from 340B discounts, while many small rural hospitals, like Self Regional, and clinics—those serving our most vulnerable communities—are excluded. That’s not equity. That’s exploitation.
If we’re serious about improving cancer outcomes in rural America, then programs like 340B must be reformed to support those they were originally designed to help. Rural providers shouldn’t be left behind while others profit.
Inspiring talk from Dr Jasmine Kamboj- a passionate voice for rural oncology.”
