Sachin Jain: The Greatest Impact of AI Will Come from Improving Care and Service
Sachin Jain, President and CEO of SCAN Group and Health Plan and an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As pressures mount across health care, many organizations are turning to AI as a tool to cut costs. But while AI can certainly improve efficiency, I believe its greatest and most enduring impact will come from improving care and service outcomes.
When we use AI to enhance the quality of care and service, cost savings follow naturally. Time will tell, but I suspect that the organizations that will win in the long run won’t be the ones that focus on cost containment alone – but those that use AI to deliver better care for the people they serve.”
