Catherine Alix-Panabières: Reflecting on “Mai en Gris” Event in Montpellier Supporting Glioblastoma Awareness

Catherine Alix-Panabières, Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montpellier, shared a post on LinkedIn:

A Look Back at “Mai en Gris” – Montpellier.
On Sunday, May 18th, many of us walked together — from the Ruban Gris to the CHU de Montpellier, passing by Gui de Chauliac Hospital, through the Bois de Montmaur, and ending at the Lunaret Zoo.
A big thank you to the Association Des étoiles dans la mer, Vaincre le Glioblastome, Laetitia Levère, and her entire team for organizing this beautiful moment of sharing, awareness, and hope.
Thank you also for the smiles, conversations… and the Spanish inn-style picnic! It was a morning full of emotions and solidarity.
The Liquid Biopsy LCCRH Lab – Laboratoire Cellules Circulantes Rares Humaines, based at CHU de Montpellier, holds great promise for research on liquid biopsy applied to glioblastoma.
Through a simple blood test, this lab is exploring innovative ways to detect and better understand this aggressive brain tumor at earlier stages.
Project GLIOLIPSY and Project BIOLIMEN are shining examples of science serving hope.”

The post recaps the “Mai en Gris” walk in Montpellier, honoring glioblastoma awareness and community solidarity. It also highlights the CHU de Montpellier’s Liquid Biopsy LCCRH Lab and its research into non-invasive glioblastoma diagnostics through projects like GLIOLIPSY and BIOLIMEN.
