“If you look at the calendar, you’ll see that today we celebrate International Nurses Day. But to me, and for everyone at Advocate Health, every single day is a celebration of our nurses – the skilled caretakers, the compassionate advocates, and the unshakeable pillars of support for both teammates and patients alike.
Across our hospitals and clinics, over 42,000 nurses provide exceptional care every day. You’ll find them holding family’s hands when they’re scared and delivering the steady care that helps patients go from uncertainty to understanding to resolve – and to healing. Even after a patient leaves our hospital, they’ll remember how the nurses made them feel, and how safe and supported they felt in their care.
To our nurses, Happy Nurses Day! You are the heartbeat of our organization.”
