Nduwayezu Samuel Highlights Impact of One Egg A Day Cancer Support Initiative in Rwanda
Nduwayezu Samuel, Founder of HEZA Initiative and Co-Founder and Chairman of HEZA EGG HUB, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In Karongi, Rwanda, the One Egg A Day initiative has transformed lives. What began as a simple act of providing an egg daily to women undergoing cancer treatment has blossomed into a sustainable model of care.
These women, once isolated by stigma and fear, now raise their own chickens, ensuring a continuous source of nutrition and income. Beyond the physical nourishment, the program has rekindled community bonds and restored dignity.
The patients testimonies underscore the power of compassion and community-driven solutions in healthcare. Gratitude to the dedicated teams at HEZA Initiative, ACREOL Global and Elekta Foundation for making this vision a reality.”
