Adam Durbin has been named an AACR NextGen Star – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

“Adam Durbin, MD, PhD, has been named an American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) NextGen Star, an honor recognizing up-and-coming cancer researchers.
Durbin’s work focuses on translating laboratory discoveries into clinical breakthroughs for children with difficult-to-treat malignancies. His research into targeting and reprogramming cell states for therapeutic benefit earned the distinction from the AACR.
‘The Molecular Oncology division at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is very excited that physician scientist Dr. Adam Durbin has been selected as an AACR NextGen Star. The work in his laboratory to deconvolute the epigenic and genomic-coded cell states in neuroblastoma is innovative and potentially actionable.’ said Mark Hatley, MD, PhD, St. Jude Molecular Oncology Division director.
