Alique Topalian: I have been selected as part of the AACR Scientist-Survivor Program
Alique Topalian, Research Scientist of Survivorship and Supportive Services at University of Cincinnati Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am so honored to be selected as part the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Scientist↔Survivor Program.
This program is designed to build enduring partnerships among the leaders of the scientific, cancer survivor, and patient advocacy communities worldwide. This special educational program provides patient advocates with special lectures, small group discussions, and other opportunities for the exchange of information on key aspects of cancer research, survivorship, advocacy, and public policy.
The AACR Scientist↔Survivor Program provides an opportunity for 30 patient advocates to learn about key research topics such as genomics, immunotherapy, biomarker development, clinical trials, advanced technologies; and interact with scientists, doctors, health professionals, and other advocates.
I am so excited to connect with some of the best individuals in the field and build new relationships along the way. Stay tuned to learn more about cutting edge cancer research over the next week!”
