Isabel Mestres: Strengthening health systems from the ground up to deliver better cancer care for all
Isabel Mestres, CEO of City Cancer Challenge Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We strengthen health systems from the ground up to deliver better cancer care for all. That’s what City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) does. And we do it by breaking silos, building trust, and partnering with local leaders to power change- across health financing, workforce, data systems, access and quality of care.
Where you live and who you are shouldn’t determine the quality of care you receive. But health systems are complex. Even with a model that works, it’s never simple. That complexity can make it hard to explain what we do. A year ago, we knew we needed to communicate this story better. So we began a journey, with a refreshed vision, a bold new team, and a clear ambition: to bring clarity to complexity.
Thanks to the leadership of Dr Kulveer Singh, the creativity of our partners Martina Nadal (Domestic Data Streamers), Marc Lite (FIRMA), and Jo Filshie Browning (Filshie Browning Associates), and the collaboration of every C/Can team member, we’re proud to launch a new narrative. A powerful voice that explains who we are, what we do, and why it matters.
And this is just the beginning. In the coming months, we’ll share how we work, how we partner, and the real impact we’re having in cities around the world. We can’t do this alone.”
