Kenji López-Cuevas Joins SPCC Scientific Advisory Board in Cancer Care
Kenji López-Cuevas, Treasurer at Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), announced via X that he has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Sharing Progress in Cancer Care (SPCC) organization.
“With great gratitude I share that I have received invitación formal approval to be part of the Scientific Advisory Board, period June 2025 to May 2028, of the Sharing Progress in Cancer Care Organization (SPCC) spcc.net, based on Suiza.
I have accepted and I am ready to start working as part of this group of professionals and leaders globales who seek the promotion, coordination and implementation of programs, projects and initiatives in the field of cancer education, with special emphasis on progress científico and innovación in the care of this disease.
My special thanks to Dr. Matti Aapro, President of this organization, for considering my profile for this position. Honored and committed.”
The appointment is for the period of June 2025 to May 2028. SPCC, based in Switzerland, focuses on promoting, coordinating, and implementing initiatives in cancer education, with an emphasis on scientific progress and innovation in oncology care. Kenji López-Cuevas expressed gratitude to Dr. Matti Aapro, President of SPCC, for the nomination. He confirmed that he has accepted the invitation and is prepared to begin his term as part of the international advisory group.
