“Thrilled to join The Lancet Commission on Serious Respiratory Illness and Palliative Care!
Together, we’re rethinking palliative care’s role in respiratory illness, especially in low- and middle-income countries.
Led by our inspiring co-chairs, Dr. Billy Rosa and Dr. Don Sullivan, the commission brings together experts dedicated to addressing gaps in care and improving quality of life for those with respiratory illnesses worldwide.
This work is essential. Respiratory diseases, like COPD, claim millions of lives yearly, and many patients lack access to adequate palliative care. We’re exploring innovative solutions for low-resource settings.
Excited to share findings from this incredible team in the months ahead. Together, we can create impactful change.”
