“How to treat myeloma after American Society of Hematology (ASH23):

• Don’t treat high-risk smouldering.
• Do quads for transplant eligible (but no cd38 maintenance afterwards).
• Don’t do quads or carfilzomib in newly diagnosed frail/older patients.
• Don’t do a salvage autologous stem cell transplant no matter how good the first one was.”
