“Exciting funding opportunity for lung cancer researchers!
LUNGevity Foundation, alongside our incredible partners, is now accepting Letters of Intent and Applications for a variety of prestigious award programs that support lung cancer research.
With $54M+ in research investment, LUNGevity has become the nation’s largest nonprofit lung cancer research funder. We remained committed to honor the vision of the seven survivors who founded LUNGevity in Chicago in 2001 when lung cancer was not a research priority!
Our journey has been possible thanks to our patient and caregiver community, patient partners, donors, our Scientific Advisory Board, and the brilliant lung cancer researchers we work with.
We are proud to fund the best science and support the best scientists, as we strategically invest in patient-centric research focused on early detection and innovative therapies. Our new Bridge to Breathe Mid-Career Investigator Award – created by Amy C. Moore, PhD – is one of the many ways we are addressing evolving scientific and workforce needs. Research shouldn’t stop, because lung cancer doesn’t either!
