Huge milestone on the road to a Smoke free UK – Cancer Research UK

“Today we celebrate a huge milestone on our road to a Smoke free UK after members of the Northern Ireland Assembly voted in favour of the Tobacco and Vapes Bill. We want to see this historic legislation passed and implemented in all four nations of the UK.
Michelle Mitchell, CEO of Cancer Research UK, shared this post, adding:
“Fantastic to see the Tobacco and Vapes Bill pass its Legislative Consent Motion in Northern Ireland today. We’ll continue in our mission to help end cancers caused by smoking, and we now hope to see Scotland and Wales backing this historic legislation, bringing us a significant step closer to a Smoke free UK.”
