Zeena Salman, Consultant, Global Pediatric Medicine at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“It is my five-year anniversary working with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

When I started out in this field, I never could have imagined I would have the space and support to work in Palestine through global pediatric cancer capacity building, that I would lead an incredible team evacuating 200 children with cancer out of Gaza to date, or help build a virtual brain tumor fellowship training program for physicians around the world.

There remains so much work to do, particularly in Palestine, and I feel grateful to have the opportunity to have this small impact in the world.”
