Every light tells a story – Michael Holtz
Every light tells a story.
What makes Lights Of Hope so special is that literally every lighted bag on display tells the story of someone affected by cancer. Could be a patient in active treatment, a survivor or a caregiver. Often, people honor members of their medical team or recognize friends and loved ones who made going through cancer bearable.
As an advocate for American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) it is a tremendous honor to shepherd the stories that make up my display.
Every light purchased gets us closer to the end of cancer as we know it. ACS CAN volunteers like me work at the local, state and national level to influence cancer-related policy, like increased research funding or improving the quality of life for cancer patients.
We can’t do this work without your help. That’s why I ask my friends and family to support Lights of Hope every year. Your support funds the work that brings us closer to the end of cancer.
Will you donate? Honor or remember a loved one for just $10 per bag. Tell their story. Join us.
