“Thrilled to be home after my last conference for 2024. The 6th Global Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Congress in Melbourne was fabulous!
Favourite moments:
Seeing so many members of the BSU shine as they presented their work. I’m looking at you, Ursula Sansom-Daly, Clarissa Schilstra, Joanna Fardell and Sarah Ellis!Spending time with precious friends from PNG (Gwenda Anga and Casparia Mond), Ukraine (Yuliya Nogovitsyna), Cuba (Sandra Soca Lozano), the US (Lori Wiener) and many more fabulous places.
Strolling along the Yarra with the brilliant Dr Jennifer Cohen.
Co-chairing a wonderful symposium on AYA cancer care in low- and middle-income countries with the inspirational Carmen Monge-Montero, and
Presenting our work on e-cigarette use in young cancer survivors in a fascinating symposium on ‘Navigating adolescence in a changing world’.”
