The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last night at the American Society of Hematology’s annual conference, ASH24, we celebrated six world-class physician-scientists and researchers who have dedicated their careers to improving the lives of blood cancer patients and their families.
These individuals are perfect representations of people changing the face of blood cancer research and care.
Congratulations to our LLS Excellence in Scientific Service awardees, Jonathan Licht of University of Florida Health Cancer Center, and Susan O’Brien, formerly of UC Irvine Health.
These two have consistently stepped up to help us find and fund the best ideas and brightest minds across the globe, uniting us towards cures and improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
