Janice Cowden: Excited to share that I’ve been invited to serve as a social media ambassador at SABCS 2024

Janice Cowden, Former nurse, Cancer patient and Advocate, shared a post on LinkedIn by OncoDaily, adding:

“Excited to share that I’ve been invited to serve as a social media ambassador at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) this year! As a patient advocate, my focus is on amplifying research, fostering collaboration, and sharing insights that can make a difference in the metastatic breast cancer community.

While the term ‘influencer’ often implies promoting products or personal brands, being a patient advocate is about something much deeper – advancing understanding, advocating for science, and giving voice to those impacted by MBC.

To engage with the broader community, ensuring that the latest research and developments are accessible and meaningful to patients.

Thanks to OncoDaily for elevating the patient advocate voice.

It’s a privilege to be part of this global conversation and to help bridge the gap between science & the lived experience of those facing MBC. Follow along for updates and insights from SABCS24. Let’s keep pushing for progress together!”
