Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu: Medicaid Cancer Foundation Walkaway Cancer
Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu shared on LinkedIn:
“One of the most impactful aspects of the MEDICAID CANCER FOUNDATION Walkaway Cancer is the healthcare support it offers to participants. Beyond raising awareness and funds, each walk is accompanied by free health screenings and immunizations, creating an opportunity for people to prioritize their well-being.
These services are made possible through the unwavering support of incredible partners like BISON, BWS, PPB, NPHCDA, and many more who have stood by us year after year, ensuring we can extend these critical resources to our community. During this year’s post-walk event, free screening was available for breast and cervical cancer, hepatitis, hypertension, and diabetes as well as free HPV vaccination.
We are deeply grateful for their commitment and look forward to continuing this tradition of good health and well-being together.”
