George Yaghmour: We dance for cure and awareness
George Yaghmour, Associate Director of USC Norris Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at University of Southern California, recently posted on LinkedIn.
“October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the fight against this relentless disease continues. With over 3.8 million brave patients diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, it’s crucial to spread awareness and emphasize the importance of regular screenings like mammograms and DNA cell-free tests, especially for those with a family history of this disease.
Together, we can make a difference in the battle against breast cancer. A big shoutout to the incredible breast cancer survivors who inspire us with their strength, the dedicated healthcare providers here at our center who care for them, and the relentless researchers at USC working tirelessly in the fight against breast cancer.
Your resilience, compassion, and dedication are changing lives and bringing hope to the journey ahead. Together, we’re making progress!
We dance for cure and awareness.
Stronger together… invited to join us as we walk on October 29th at Exposition Park for the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk.”
