Innocent H. Peter Uggh: Ways we could improve our workforce’s mental health, wellbeing and resilience in LMICs
Innocent H. Peter Uggh, Study Coordinator and Research Scientist at Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute, posted on LinkedIn:
“With LMICs leading in the cancer-related deaths and late diagnoses where healthcare providers have little to do or none to help combined with being understaffed, underpaid, and under harsh working condition with no proper diagnostics or treatment options, how are they prevailing mentally??. How are they coping?, I will be attending this workshop organized by ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology discussing on ways we could improve our workforce’s mental health, wellbeing and their resilience. I am looking forward to the fruitful discussion on the topic. What do you think could be done?.”
