Prof. Amita Trehan, a Professor of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India, focuses her research on leukemia, participating in an international trial and studying relapse genomics. She has worked to improve acute lymphoblastic leukemia survival rates in resource-limited settings. Previously, she served as Chairperson of the Pediatric Hematology Oncology Chapter of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
