Jennifer A. Wargo is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology and the Department of Genomic Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She holds the R. Lee Clark Endowed Professorship in the Department of Surgical Oncology, reflecting her significant contributions to the field.
Dr. Wargo earned her Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) from Harvard University in 2012 and her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1998. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology (1994) and an Associate of Science in Nursing (1990), both from Gwynedd-Mercy College.
With expertise in both surgical oncology and genomic medicine, Dr. Wargo is dedicated to advancing cancer treatment through innovative research and clinical practice. Her work emphasizes the integration of surgical techniques with genomic insights to improve patient outcomes in oncology.
