Kimryn Rathmell: Honored to give the 18th Stan Korsmeyer Memorial Lecture at the Washington University Office of Neuroscience Research

“As a scientist who’s been inspired by Stanley Korsmeyer’s work, it was my honor to give the 18th Stan Korsmeyer Memorial Lecture at the Washington University Office of Neuroscience Research yesterday.
His legacy lives on as we work together across the cancer community to end cancer as we know it.”
Kimryn Rathmell is a distinguished leader and researcher in the field of kidney cancer. Specializing in the research and treatment of complex and hereditary kidney cancers.
She has held leadership positions with organizations such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society for Clinical Investigation, she has been elected to esteemed academies including the Association of American Physicians, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Medicine.Currently serving as the director of the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Rathmell continues to lead research initiatives and advance the understanding and treatment of kidney cancer, ultimately improving the lives of patients worldwide.
