“This is great news! We announced today that we have received a major order of multiple linac systems from Ukraine through our partnership with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. This will enable Ukrainian cancer care to accelerate, with the latest innovations in radiation therapy, despite all the hardships and suffering of war. Truly a beacon of hope!
Quoting Elekta’s post:
“Through a partnership with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, people with cancer in the country will now have access to modern radiation therapy devices with the delivery of several Elekta Harmony linacs to half of Ukraine’s provinces as well as to the National Cancer Institute in Kyiv.
This endeavor complements the efforts of clinical staff, Elekta workers, and our distributor, who have worked to maintain radiation therapy treatments throughout the region.”
