Janice Cowden is active on X/Twitter and LinkedIn, where she shares her personal journey and insights on breast cancer advocacy. Diagnosed with stage I triple-negative breast cancer in 2011, she later faced metastatic disease in 2016. Since then, Janice has passionately dedicated herself to supporting others in the cancer community.

About Janice Cowden
Janice is a Living Beyond Breast Cancer Hear My Voice (HMV) Advocate and has been serving as a Helpline Volunteer since 2017. She actively collaborates with various patient-founded organizations, including PCDI, GRASP, and Project Life MBC. As a trained peer support volunteer, she established an international online peer support group specifically for patients newly diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
In addition to her grassroots efforts, Janice serves on the Board of Directors for METAvivor Research and Support, Inc., and is an Advisory Board member for Project Life MBC. In 2022, she was honored as a patient advocate scholarship recipient at the ASCO conference, where she further expanded her involvement by representing PCDI on a research study as a lead patient advocate.
