100 Influential Women in Oncology: Key Opinion Leaders to Follow on Social Media in 2024: Part 6

This week, we continue featuring 100 influential women in oncology, and here is the list of the next 10 remarkable leaders who are making profound impacts on cancer care, research, and advocacy around the globe. These women are paving the way for a future where cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship are top priorities. Their dedication and leadership inspire all of us to continue the fight against cancer.

Stella Kyriakides is the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety and the driving force behind Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan. As a former President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and President of the European Breast Cancer Coalition, she has played a pivotal role in improving cancer prevention, care, and patient advocacy across Europe. Dr. Kyriakides continues to lead efforts in establishing robust healthcare systems across the EU, advocating for cancer patients and their families.

Danielle Carnival leads the the Biden Cancer Moonshot for the President and First Lady of the United States and directs a Health Outcomes team as a Deputy Director in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
