Joshua Omale: Personal Reflections – What Childhood Cancer Awareness Month means to me

“Day 28: Personal Reflections: What Childhood Cancer Awareness Month means to me
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is a time of deep reflection for me personally. As someone living in Nigeria, a country (just like many other LMICs) where the healthcare system can be described as still struggling, I’ve seen firsthand the disparities children with cancer face. This month reminds me why I started this journey – to fight for a world where every child, regardless of where they live, has access to life-saving care. It’s personal. It’s urgent. And it’s a fight we must continue.”
