The impact our circadian rhythm has on immunotherapy – Cancer Research Institute
Cancer Research Institute posted on LinkedIn about recent paper by Sahana Sitaraman, titled “The Circadian Clock Tells the Right Time for Immunotherapy” published on The Scientist.
“According to new research from CRI Lloyd J. Old STAR Dr. Ping Chih-Ho of University of Lausanne and Ludwig Cancer Research, the efficacy of immunotherapy is influenced by the time of day it is administered. This study, published in Cell by Cell Press, demonstrates how giving immunotherapy when the tumor microenvironment is most susceptible to T cells enhances treatment efficacy in mice. Read more about the impact our circadian rhythm has on immunotherapy, in The Scientist.”
