“Meet Serah, a nurse practitioner from Nairobi, Kenya. In 2021 she was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML).
Her experience, however, has deepened her empathy and improved her patient care. She’s now a passionate advocate, raising awareness about early diagnosis and treatment.
Serah’s message is clear: ‘CML is not a death sentence. If you’re diagnosed with CML, you can live a normal life.’ ”
