Jason A. Mouabbi: October 15 is officially recognized as Lobular Breast Cancer Awareness Day in Texas

Jason A. Mouabbi, Assistant Professor, Department of Breast Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on X:

“Received this in the mail last week and I am thrilled to announce that October 15 is officially recognized as Lobular Breast Cancer Awareness Day in the great state of Texas! We’re hosting a celebration MD Anderson Cancer Center to mark this incredible milestone.

Special thanks to Governor Greg Abbott and First Lady Cecilia Abbott for their support in making this happen. This shows Texas’ unwavering commitment to women’s health!”

Dr. Jason A. Mouabbi is assistant professor of breast medical oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. He joined the LBCA SAB in early 2021. He has won awards like GRASP Award in 2022, Top Doctor Award, Detroit Hour Magazine in 2019 and more.  His research is focused on highlighting the differences between invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) and invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) for the past eight years.
