Elvina Almuradova: Incorporating exercise as a part of supportive care for BC patients is essential for HRQOL
Elvina Almuradova, Associate Professor, Medicana Health Group,
“The multinational PREFERABLE-EFFECT trial demonstrated that a 9-month supervised exercise program can significantly improve health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and reduce fatigue in patients with metastatic BC, reinforcing the value of exercise in supportive cancer care.
Complementing this, our research found a strong link between poor sleep quality, depression, and reduced QoL in BC patients.
Incorporating exercise as a part of supportive care for BC patients is essential for HRQOL.
