Christina Clarke Dur: Had the BEST day in Bethesda with colleagues celebrating the 50th anniversary of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program.
Quoting Christina Clarke Dur, Vice President and Distinguished Scientist at GRAIL, on LinkedIn:
“Had the BEST day in Bethesda with colleagues celebrating the 50th anniversary of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program…the preeminent worldwide resource for cancer statistics. Was so honored to get to share how important SEER data have been to the development and evaluation of new technologies for multi cancer early detection and cancer screening.
Glory Days were had with Allison Kurian, Scarlett Gomez, Lihua Liu, Salma Shariff-Marco, Thomas C. Tucker, Steve Shak, Rocky Feuer, Brenda Hernandez, Dee West, Betsy Kohler, Lynne Penberthy, Joan Warren and others!!
And remember when data was sent by mail on CDs and a run of SEER or SEER-Medicare data on SAS software could take a few hours…we’ve come a long way baby!”
