“Urgent fundraiser for Areg
Areg, a 4-year-old from Teghut village in Tavush region, urgently needs our help. He has been fighting a high-risk neuroblastoma, a serious type of cancer, for over a year. In April 2023, after experiencing leg pain in his right leg and a high fever, Areg was diagnosed with neuroblastoma following several tests.
Since then, he has received treatment funded entirely by the City of Smile Foundation at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia. His treatment has included six rounds of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and a bone marrow autotransplant.
Despite facing numerous complications, Areg has shown incredible resilience with the support of a devoted medical team and his loving family. Areg is a vibrant and brave boy.
Even at his young age, he faces his treatment with courage and offers comfort to his mother during tough times. As the only child in his family, he shares a deep connection with his mother.
Areg dreams of taking boxing classes and enjoys drawing, playing with toy cars, and imagining himself as a superhero, while his family’s only wish is to see him overcome this illness.
Although he is now in temporary remission, he urgently needs Dinutuximab beta immunotherapy to ensure a full recovery.
Each vial costs US$10,000, and he requires 12 vials, totaling US$120,000. Cancer does not wait, and every moment counts. Please consider donating to help Areg beat cancer and follow his dreams.
