“New Study: The association between obesity and cancer risk in individuals with cardiovascular disease (CVD) has been further clarified in JAHA funded by the AHA Science.
This ARIC Cancer study followed 5,127 participants over 28 years to investigate how obesity impacts cancer risk after a CVD diagnosis.
Primary analysis – Sarah Malik who was a med student at MCG and now IM resident at Duke Department of Medicine.”
