Dr. Karen Knudsen is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Cancer Society and the American Cancer Society Action Network. She is also a member of the Board of Directors at Research!America.
Additionally, Dr. Knudsen serves on the Scientific Review Board at Genentech and has been a board member and as a member of the Board of Scientific Advisors at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Dr. Knudsen is known for her practice-changing research in prostate cancer, which has contributed to new, effective cancer treatments.
