Roupen Odabashian: Things I learned from meeting physician entrepreneurs

“Things I learned from meeting physician entrepreneurs.
Meeting physician entrepreneurs on Delta: HealthTech Innovators podcast has been an eye-opening experience.
They have field expertise and can create products that solve significant problems in healthcare and achieve great product-market fit, making them excellent founders.
However, they also face unique challenges. One major hurdle is transitioning from being hands-on workers to effective operators.
Physicians are used to directly engaging with patients and handling tasks themselves. As startup founders, they need to excel in managerial roles, finding and guiding the right talent to execute their vision while they steer the company forward.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the challenges you faced in your journey Dr. Thomas Kelly, Yair Saperstein, MD MPH, MD, Michael D Abramoff.”
