“It’s not only in Gaza or Ukraine. Today dozens of armed conflicts are raging around the world.
Prof Mark Lawler, co-chair of the Emergencies and Crises Network, and Prof Andreas Charalambous, past president of the European Cancer Organisation join forces with cancer experts to launch the ‘Improving Cancer Care in Conflict-Impacted Populations’ manifesto in The Lancet.’
The manifesto outlines seven essential priorities to safeguard cancer services in long-term conflict settings.
