“City of Hope Orange County is pioneering a Phase 2 clinical trial for BDC-001, an immune-stimulating antibody that may offer new hope for patients with HER2-positive breast cancer without the need for additional chemotherapy.
Led by Irene M. Kang, M.D., medical director of women’s health medical oncology, the trial aims to find new treatment options for those whose cancer continues to progress. Early data shows BDC-001 is well-tolerated with minimal side effects.
This trial is among more than 800 cancer-focused clinical trials offered at City of Hope each year, giving patients access to promising new treatments long before they become the standard of care
