Mainak Bardhan concluding his first training program in the USA
Mainak Bardhan, Doctoral Researcher at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, shared on X:
“As I conclude my first training program in the USA, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ahluwalia for his generosity in offering me the opportunity to work closely with him at Miami Cancer Institute Research, Baptist Health. Couldn’t have asked for a better start and mentor.
Thankful to Manmeet Ahluwalia for giving me this unparallel opportunity to work with wonderful people like Pallavi Tiwari, University of Wisconsin Neuroradiology on NIH R01 projects, industry partners like Cellworks, Caris Life Sciences, AXDEVGROUP, Bayer AG, Eli Lilly and Company, Natera to name a few.
I am lucky and fortunate enough to work with Manmeet Ahluwalia, Baptist Health, Miami Cancer Institute Research with immense flexibility and support. Whether its finance, stay, food or travel for conferences I never had to think twice. Dr. Ahluwalia made sure to give support in all possible ways.
Got to learn about life skills and lessons to be successful in which we often miss to learn in academic settings. Thanks Manmeet Ahluwalia for those discussions. Special thanks to Vivek Podder being a great office neighbor, teaching me immigration tips and tricks. Rare lessons.”
