Alejandro Sweet-Cordero’s research in osteosarcoma – St. Baldrick’s Foundation
St. Baldrick’s Foundation shared on LinkedIn:
“Battle Osteosarcoma was founded in honor of Charlotte, Dylan, and Tyler, who were all affected by osteosarcoma. Their families united and rallied their friends and families to raise funds, ultimately supporting a $1.35 million research grant led by Dr. Alejandro Sweet-Cordero.
This funding was particularly meaningful because Dr. Sweet-Cordero treated Charlotte, Dylan, and Tyler. Though they are now remembered as sweet angels, their legacy continues to inspire their families and others to support research for better treatment options for other children with osteosarcoma.
In addition to Dr. Sweet-Cordero’s research, Battle Osteosarcoma has partnered with St. Baldrick’s and others to support two other $1.5 million osteosarcoma research projects.
