“United Steps: Raising Cancer Awareness through Urban Hikes.
Members of my Team Six from the Leadership Rhode Island (LRI), also known as Six in the City, joined with members of my laboratory (Mani Lab), at Brown University Legorreta Cancer Center, along with their friends and family, at Lincoln Woods State Park this morning. It was a fun event. We aim to repeat this walk on the first Saturday of every month to bring awareness and promote inclusivity by visiting various parks throughout the city of Providence.”
