“Proud to have presented during ISPNO2024 along with my colleagues from Italy and specifically Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital:
– Posters covered a wide range of significant topics from characterization of an altered immune status in children with brain tumors, to description of cancer predisposition syndromes in children with high grade gliomas and to clinical results in the management of the exquisitely frail population of infants with medulloblastoma.
– Spectacular preclinical work by Mara Vinci and her lab on high grade glioma during the SIOP BTWG.
Deep characterization of tumor cells and microenvironment, including immune cells will surely be fundamental in overcoming treatment resistance and design newtreatment strategies.”
