Paul’s Story: Changing the Odds by Helping Others – American Cancer Society
American Cancer Society shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, Paul rarely remembers hearing people talk about cancer.
Now, after navigating his own challenges with prostate cancer, he encourages others in his community to advocate for their own health through his volunteer work with the ACS, where he helps drive people to their cancer appointments.
Together with Patrick Dempsey and Pfizer, we’re working to “Change the Odds” for people like Paul, who live in underserved communities. Hear more about Paul’s story as he and Jane, his friend and fellow ACS volunteer, share how they’re helping their community address local barriers to cancer care in our latest Front Porch Conversation.
